中国のデジタルカメラ事情
Searchina.com announced the survey of Chinese conscious for Digital Camera. The result of survey showed 67.1% of standard digital camera holders, 18.4% of digital video camera holiders and 7.8% of single-lens reflex digital camera holders. Younger people tends to have digital camera and oldrer people has single-lens reflex digital camera according to this survey. This tend in China seems same as in Japan.
Legend of Sony is still alve in China. Sony is the most popular among Chinese in China. Canon is following after Sony in China. Sony (29.7%) and Canon (22.1%) occupy mostly half of overall market in China. Sony is supported by various aged/located/sexual/salaried Chinese. On the other hand, Canon is supported by rich Chinese.
The third ranked Kodak is in a struggle to survive in China market. Kodak has a rumour to be moved to Singaporean capital "Flexronics (偉創力)" whose factory is located in Shanghai. Chinese brand company which are doing well in a sluggish Chinese IT industry are prolonging slump in digital camera market in China, for example Renovo is 1.9% and Aigo (愛国者) is 1.1%. Especially Aigo expresses to challenge Japanese brand's position.
The research also showed that Sony (56.5%) positioned the first rank in the next purchase list in China, following to Canon (49.5%), Olympus (27.5%), Samsung (24.9%) and Nicon (24.3%). Sony and Canon remain influent and popular among Chinese in China.
